The turf at Allison Ranch hardly challenges the rugged construction of the KODIAK, unless a woodchuck has dug out a home on the centerline. This is one of a myriad of events that can make any backcountry landing a potential adventure. It’s also good to know that, in an emergency, the KODIAK can take the kind of abuse the backcountry dishes out as well as any legitimate runway.
