From the very beginning our underlying mission at Quest has been to design and manufacture a bush / utility aircraft specifically suited to the needs of missionary and humanitarian aviation organizations which provide access to the most remote regions of the world and the isolated people groups who live in them.
The KODIAK was designed with the participation of Quest Mission Team organizations who have over 6 decades of experience providing these services in the most geographically challenging and difficult to reach areas of the world. Now, the KODIAK fills the need of these organizations, pilots and people with a rugged, powerful, and more capable aircraft.
Our vision is that the most impoverished people in the world will have a better life here and in eternity as a result of the KODIAK, the pilots who feel called to help them and those who support these efforts.
Our thanks to Dave Forney (MAF, Indonesia) for these great photos.
To celebrate the role of aviation in the last half century of humanitarian efforts Quest Aircraft is pleased to sponsor a new series of paintings by distinguished artist Sharon Rajnus. Her paintings depict 7 unique moments in mission aviation, from Betty Greene's Grumman Duck floatplane crossing the Andes all the way to Nate Saint's Piper PA-14 in formation with our own KODIAK. The collection, entitled GREAT MOMENTS IN MISSION AVIATION, was unveiled on Wednesday, July 29, at the EAA Museum in Oshkosh, Wisconsin and will be on display at the EAA Museum through Fall 2009. The collection will be permanently housed at Quest Aircraft corporate headquarters in Sandpoint, Idaho and is available for display in other venues by request.
Quest Aircraft is also pleased to announce the availability of note card reprints of GREAT MOMENTS IN MISSION AVIATION. Please visit Rajnus Art for details. Large scale & giclee reproductions are also available on an individual query basis. Proceeds will support the collection and the Quest Mission Team.
We are deeply honored and humbled to stand alongside these heroes of mission aviation. The opportunity to present this visual celebration and share the paintings with others is an experience we are proud to be a part of.
